Dutro was founded in 1945 in Emeryville, California. As the business grew it expanded to Logan, Utah, which has been home for about the past 20 years. Staffed by a team of engineers, welders and expert craftsmen Dutro has built a solid reputation for quality metal fabrication.
At Dutro’s heart and soul are the products we made from the very beginning – our hand trucks, hand carts and dollies. Powered by a post war industrial demand for material handling products, Dutro has grown as American business has grown. Our lines of hand trucks have morphed and evolved to the ever expanding needs of industry. We partner with our customers to design to their changing needs and deliver material handling tools that make their business efficient.

These are the ultimate hand trucks, made to spin and easily move car body parts around a shop. Our love of cars extends to our love of the outdoors and a passion for pursuing it offroad. That’s given rise to an ambitious development of what we believe are the world’s most affordable and rugged overlanding adventure trailers available – the Trail Trailer.
